Module Overview

This module has been designed to provide workers with an understanding of how to apply a five-step process to identify and manage risks in the workplace. Workers will be equipped with the necessary knowledge, framework and process to identify risks, understand risk tolerance and undertake risk assessments in their workplace.

Learning Objectives

To provide learners with an understanding of how to use a 5-step incident management process to identify, assess, control, correct, and review classify, investigate, control and review potential exposure to workplace risks, including the use of a risk-tolerance bar, a risk assessment matrix, and the necessity of a corrective action plan.
