Module Overview

This module has been designed to provide workers with an understanding of how to apply a five-step process to identify and manage risks in the workplace. Workers will be equipped with the necessary knowledge, framework and process to identify risks, understand risk tolerance and undertake risk assessments in their workplace.

Suitable for Australian workers in all industries.


Learning Objectives

To provide learners with an understanding of how to use a 5-step incident management process to identify, assess, control, correct, and review classify, investigate, control and review potential exposure to workplace risks, including the use of a risk-tolerance bar, a risk assessment matrix, and the necessity of a corrective action plan.


Business Outcomes

Improve workplace understanding of the importance of using Risk Management processes as a proactive tool to manage Health & Safety in the workplace.
